Let’s talk about Prue. I love Prue to death but I wish she was more cautious. I’m on a rewatch and I’m noticing that Prue is very much act now ask later and it’s very risky. There’s no planning, minimal book consults, and in this episode (Season 3, Sin Francisco) she went looking for evil. It’s just very not smart.Plus earlier episodes showed more of a neurotic side to her being more resistant to the idea of being a witch. In Season 1 Piper was more scare at the prospect of the idea of being a witch or not getting use to her powers. Favorite thing: The show had a great premise. Three sisters who happened to be witches and whose power drew from their family bond and history. The actresses also had great chemistry: Shannen had good dramatic acting, Alyssa had good comedic timing, Holly had both, and Rose brought in new energy. 😍.Her strongest season is season 4, IMO. There is a part in the episode where Phoebe looks into a barrel to see that her true love's name begins with a "C"...In later seasons we do see the charmed ones fighting demons that aren't in the book so they consult the library at magic school. New Charmed, ok, I get that women have to be careful i Controversial opinion time. But Rose McGowan's acting in charmed was atrocious. And it was only made worse by how amazing Holly Marie Combs was when Prue died. But in Marry-Go-Round Phoebe is a complete wench from beginning to end, how she treats Paige is horrible.SEX with humans is just for breeding. And sex with witches, unthinkable. The only exception to this is could think of would be deliberately breeding with witches for power, but even then it would be an act of duty.
